The Dynamo should get the victory this week over a winless Salt Lake squad. The game will be televised on FSN Houston.

This, in theory, should be a blow out win. Ching is running out of games to impress bruce Arena. This would be an ideal setting to do so. He doesn't need 4 goals, but he's going to have to show he can dominate.

The game is Saturday at 7:30 and will be shown on FSN Houston and in Spanish on channel 43.
I think our chances are good in this one, after two losses Houston will be looking to get a win, and Salt Lake is the worst team in the league. De Rosario will be back which will be a major boost to the line up.
Also, we get to break out the "Porno mustache" chant for their goalkeeper.

We get poker instead of the game in Austin.
We should win this one pretty easily. 3-1 Dynamo.

4-2 Dynamo. DeRosario's return, he scores on a bender off a set piece play. Gol de tiro libre directo, mala barrera.

There's a guy off of Real Salt Lake that I cannot stand. I believe his name is Cunningham. He's a cockgobbler.

I passed by the Dynamo offices yesterday to pick up parking passes and the folks there said that the turnout should be strong today b/c of all of the ticket promotions this week. I hope they're right!

I'm sorry but just reading the terms "Houston Dynamo vs. Real Salt Lake" just made me chuckle at how totally LITERALLY wannabe MLS is compared to euro football.
sorry for that...carry on

From a guy who watches a ton of European football, I agree, however MLS has improved a ton over the last few years, as is actually quite entertaining. The recent infusion of future American stars (who will soon be playing in Europe), has done alot to improve the quality of play.

What exactly do you mean by "stars"? America doesn't have any.

I was talking about stars in the future, the guys that are 20 or under and playing in MLS. It is well known that America has one of th best youth programs in the world, and those players are just now starting to reach MLS. Watch guys like Eddie Gaven, Chad Marshall and Danny Szetela in Columbus, Eddie Johnson at KC, Marvel Wynne (and soon David Arvizu and Josimer Altidore) in New York, Sasha Kljesten at Chivas Freddy Adu at DCand Chris Rolfe in Chicago. These are the future stars of the National Team, and they're really good.
Also, you don't think America as any stars? What about Donovan, Beasley, Reyna, Keller and Onyewu (who I promise will be playing for a big European yeam after the WC).
BTW, we won 2-1.

That was a fun game. But, seriously, do the fans need to chant culero?

Why is the Houston Dynamo game threads not stickied?
We already do it for the major league games we have here in Houston (Astros, Texans, Comets). So why not Dynamo?

Great win today for the Houston team. De Rosario wanted to prove something today for his one game suspension from that red card he received. I liked his little dance he did after he scored. Next week we have a rematch with Colorado. De Rosario told me the team is not gonna take that game for granted since we blew them out 5-2 the first time. Our next home game is May 6 vs FC Dallas.

It's funny how people, who don't have the slightest idea about this sport, take the time to attempt to rag on soccer. Keller and Friedel a few years ago were #1 and #2 goalkeepers in the world, and both played for the US National team. RocketFan007 listed some more good ones.
Go Dynamos! Glad to see the turnout is holding strong.
I'm getting ready to go play right now. If my team wins today, we get to play at Roberts Stadium in a couple weeks for state. :D Heard the field is great.

We do chant that, and we wouldn't except the refs keep acting like one. ;)
Why would it be ulero?

and did you see the guy trying to start the "wave"? he was annoying!!! he was cussing in spanish and stuff, and he's been there all three home games!! (i've been too) we were on section 207 seats 4,5,6,7, and that dude came by to try to start the wave, i was like "sh!at, not here" he was like right in front of my friend, i told her to switch seats with me which she did, anywho.. they should do something about the cussing specially since there's a bunch of kids there. just keep it decent i guess.

I caught the end of the game on t.v. and it seemed like the atmosphere was pretty good again. It was my first time watching the Dynamo on tv as I attended the first 2 home games. Charlie Pallilo was suprisingly good and enthusiastic. I am really surprised he is doing the games, I guess he'll do anything for money. I say that b/c he like most american sports talk show hosts talk about soccer sarcastically (although he is usually more fair minded about it). Anyways, props to him for learning to respect the sport. I'll definetly be at the next home game vs F.C. Dallas.

thank you!! im glad someone agrees with me, im not agisnt being loud at the game, but why start a wave when the game is 2-1 in the 80th minute when the game is at its most interesting! this goes to the annoying dude trying to start the wave (though i doubt he reads this) come on man!! what the hell is wrong with you!! watch the game and get in the game, trying to start a wave and shouting in spanish... and i quote (and translate) "im the only person that can get 30,000 people off their seats to start a wave and if you don't do it you can go f ur moma" end quote... ok mr. attention whore, there were only about 15,000 ppl or so, and also... aaaaa nevermind it's pointless!!
/sorry i had to get that off my chest.
