Clutch:

Microsoft pulled a quick one for IE users... they've changed the way IE interacts with embedded Flash. Basically, embedded Flash needs to be called via javascript in order for it to work properly. Otherwise, it requires users to have click to activate the Flash before they can click on the navigation. If you want, I can get some documentation for you to fix it, but you can easily find on google.

I ended up switching to Firefox because of it.

why did you post a link for a new reply? I'll take this free post, but I am kind of confused.

As for FireFox, I love it. I never use IE unless I have to.

It was late and I'm not use to firefox, maybe that's why I don't like it.

I meant to post this link

what is wrong with clicking ONCE on a Flash animation or otherwise just text in order to see it? I see no problem with that. Besides, CF.net is the only place you should be looking at on your IE or FireFox or Opera browser and you already know where the Flash stuff is, so why complain?

I was thinking about downloading that one but I fell victim to firefox hype. I'll give it a couple of more weeks to see if I get use to it. If not I will be trying Opera.

One thing I don't like about firefox is the scroll. It's real jumpy when I press the wheel button to scroll super fast on long pages. I'm also constantly opening up new tabs when doing it. Regular scroll seems to suck too if there are a few pictures on the page.

Maybe I don't have it set up right or I'm missing some extension.

Actually you need to add "Advanced menu" between Options and General for the latest version.

I've had that checked and it still sucks. Only on big pages though.
