There is a game on October 8th I can't wait to see.

This is mildly unsettling in that, if Houston can't beat the Eagles week 1, an 0-4 start is a real possibility simply because of the caliber of the teams they'll be facing. But a respectable record doesn't look out of reach.

Wow. That's a really tough schedule.

Hopefully we can at least compete in a lot of these games. I know we're improved and all, but I still don't know if we're near as good as a lot of those teams.

BYE has really retooled this offseason.

i was going to say that...but since i've been Mr. Negativity about the Texans this offseason, I chose not to.

I gotta believe that many of those teams are not looking forward to playing us.

really???????

the eagles are stuck playing the cowboys, the skins, the colts and the giants. think they're really circling the texans game on their schedule as one they need to get up for...i mean above and beyond the average game?

I think we can get 6 or 7 wins out of that schedule although it is a little tougher than I expected.

First game of the season??????? Gimme a break.

The Eagles won't have that luxury anyway. This team has new players, coaching, and strategy. I doubt we expose much in pre-season that would help them prepare.

Have more faith in the team, man.

Of course, that also means the Texans will have little to no real-game experience running their new offense with their new players and their new coaches.

If I were the Eagles, I'd be thrilled to open against a team that was 2-14 last year and is basically starting over from scratch.

We can go 1-15 for all I care. As long as that win comes on Oct, 15th, the rest of the season is gravy.

Having a stretch of 5 out of 6 on the road is going to be tough.

I'd be very happy with 7-9, I think we would have to beat the Pokes and the Titans twice to get it.
