Pretty sure I'm immune to all of them.

Any unknown energy drinks out there that work well?

Red Bull and Rockstar seem to work pretty well for me. Redline is also pretty good, but more expensive.

I saw a Steven Segal energy drink at 7-11 the other day. Funny stuff.

Give Black Pearl a try too, mostly a workout energy drink, but seems to do the trick.

Red Bull stole the Thai formula, carbonated it, and marketed it in the West and took off.

If you can find a Thai grocery store near where you live (usually located near Chinatowns or vietnamese neighborhoods) look for the original stuff:

Kratingdaeng (uncarbonated redbull)
Carabao or Caribou Daeng
M-150
Shark (carbonated)

They're much cheaper than red bull and better too.

Anyway, we just finished our University-wide SportsFest (weekend-long competition against all the other dorms in a variety of sports and events) and there were Red Bull people giving out free ones.

Every time I passed by I took 2 or 3, but I ended up just taking a whole case when they were busy with other people, haha.

So basically I have about $70 worth of Red Bull (if you buy them as singles) or around $30-$40 (in bulk) in my refrigerator. Hey, it ain't stealing when they're giving it out for free.


And I don't even like Red Bull. :D

There's a new Monster that's really good; in the black and red can. (as opposed to green (normal) or blue (low-carb) or orange (the weird one with the fruit juice)) These taste decent. IMO Bawls is the best energy caffinated drink ive ever had. If you've never tasted you have to, its the best tasting by far! If it werent so expensive Id have a fridge full of it.

i would like to find a great tasting preferebly non carbonated(carbonated drinks dehydrate you) drink i can take before work out..

sort of similar to the philosophy of eating honey before physical activity since honey is instant energy(body breaks down very fast, energy ready for use)..

i sometimes eat a banana or peanutbutter and honey sandwich before work outs. i feel a slight boost in energy, such as i can work out longer and simply be able to sustain high energy throughout.

i tried Nos, it taste just like red bull. My friend told me of something called Lost. He said is less carbonated than others and full of sugar. I've never tried Monster, they have too many flavors. What else is there?
