If these teams really think that Dom Capers and Chris Palmer are good choices, then they are really stupid...or Charley Casserly really screwed up this team talentwise.

Well, for Dom, he's always been a good DC, but maybe just not a good head coach...For Palmer, if he can convince someone, that's great for him, but you know how conservative he is, so why would you want to limit your team that way...

I seem to recall Palmer not being considered conservative, when he was in Cleveland.
If he wasn't then he didn't have the balls to approach Capers about it. Either way, he is weak and I'm glad he's gone. I'm glad Capers is gone. I'm glad Marciano stayed. I'm glad we can argue on 2 rare picks. I'm glad Kubiak is coming.
I'm just one glad mo fo.

From the Cowgirl folks up here in Dallas, it looks like Chris Palmer is a serious candidate for the OC job.
Let's see how he is going to manage this Cowgirl offense.

So we've hard all this bad about Chris Palmer. Geesh, is there any good? Must be, since sources are saying the New Orleans Saints (i.e. Sean Payton) are prepared to name him their new offensive coordinator. Maybe Payton noticed, too, Palmer taking care of the New England quarterback Drew Bledsoe that 1996 Super Bowl season. Like coordinating the Jacksonville offense (yes, calling plays) which finished seventh and then 10th in 1997 and 1998, two 11-5 years. Like Houston's David Carr passing for 3,531 yards in what appeared to be a breakout 7-9 season (2004) for what was then a third-year expansion franchise. All I'm saying is, be fair. Palmer also was getting consideration from the New York Jets.

This would certainly support the Saints current charter. :D

Not announced as the OC but as the assistant head coach/passing game coordinator.

as long as he isn't running our offense i'm fine. he can stand with a head set and be parcells' b!tch all season, i don't care just don't let him have any real imput into the play calls. but man, i just hate palmer.
