This team really needs Backe right now. I heard on the telecast that he won't be back until September and thats really bad news for this team. Backe wasn't having a lights out season but he was a hell of alot more consistent than Zeke or Wandy. I feel comfortable with Backe out there and I think he was starting to get things figured out. I hope he's able to come back soon. Cause with our offence Zeke & Wandy's starts are usually going to be losses.

In a way, this time off could be good for Backe. He has never started for an entire season and the number of innings was going to get to him sooner or later. This time off might help to keep him fresh down the stretch.

With Backe, maybe we could start turning some of these 1-0 and 8-0 losses into 4-0 and 5-0 losses.

Roger had two hits and gave up two hits saturday and he still lost, what could Backe do better?

We need Backe back?

Have you been watching him all season? He has not done anything to warrant much love now save for his heroics last September and October. He still remains an unknown and a fringe player/pitcher.

What we really need is for Morgan and Lance to start driving in runs again.

The reason we are in this funk is because our two best sluggers are in an offensive funk.

Brandon cannot do much for us now and I do not expect him to be anything special this season.......maybe ever. He a great athlete though but that is where it about ends.

Burke, Brunt, Viz and Lambs poor hitting so far has not helped either.
